Downhill Costume Parade & Contest

The Annual Bud Light Downhill Costume Competition and Parade on Aspen Mountain starts at noon.

Aspen Gay Ski Week is proud to be celebrating its 35th anniversary with an eclectic and colorful look back over the years. The Costume Downhill, always one of the best evenst of GSW, will be better than ever with “Aspen Through the Years”.  This year’s contest will have 4 categories: the 70’s, 80’s, 90’s and today, with a look towards the future. There will be music, entertainment, drinks, dancing and divas!

This is an afternoon extravaganza with outrageous costumes and revelry. Just a short ski down the Little Nell run to Gondola Plaza to the stage with Nuclia Waste and the Demented Divas judging. There will be prizes in each category with a grand prize valued at over $1,000! There will also be plenty of Bud Light, Svedka and swag to keep the laughs coming. The event is free to the public, but the best views and most fun happen at our reserved tables. So reserve a Downhill Table today!
