The Annual Bud Light Downhill Costume Competition and Parade on Aspen Mountain. In 2013 we welcomed back Miss Richfield 1981 as our fabulous host! Stay tuned for details for 2014 event.
The adventure is held at Gondola Plaza with a comedic host and hysterical judges as well as the crowd watching you ski down the hill in your costume to music of your choice. There will be prizes in each category with a grand prize valued at over $1,000! There will also be plenty of Bud Light, Svedka and swag to keep the laughs coming. Reserve a Downhill Table today!
Miss Richfield 1981 dedicates her life to the friendly citizens and responsible merchants of her hometown of Richfield, Minnesota. This Midwestern maven is winning over theater and cabaret audiences around the country with an interactive format that combines homespun warmth and edgy improv, leaving audiences in hysterics with a truly original performance.
Miss Richfield’s national appeal includes riotous appearances on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” and “Today” on NBC, as well as prestigious mentions, such as The New York Post recently honoring “Miss Richfield 1981 as the must-see act in Provincetown.”

Ready to get dressed up?
We are encouraging Downhill participants to register early by emailing your name, phone number, and a brief description of your costume to pamela@gayskiweek.com. You are the most important part of this event…we need you to bring out your inner actress or actor and get all dressed up and ski a few yards. You have a chance to win great prizes and cash, as well as to be center stage for the whole town to see!
