LUNCH ON THE HIGHLANDS MOUNTAIN – MERRY GO ROUND & CLOUD NINE

Each day on the mountain we have partnered with a number of restaurants for lunch. Daily on-mountain lunches correspond with which mountain we are riding on that day. Here is a list of our participating restaurants: Sundeck & Bonnies Aspen Mountain, Merry Go Round & Cloud Nine Aspen Highlands, Sam’s Smokehouse, Gwynn’s High Alpine, Ricard & Bia Hoi on Snowmass. We also have an off-mountain lunch partner; the Meatball Shack in Aspen across Wagner Park from the Limelight. Let them know you are with Aspen Gay Ski Week for specials.

Tell your friends, “Meet me at the Merry-Go-Round!” This convenient quick-bite spot (located midway between the Highland Bowl and the base area) was recently remodeled to have a modern look and feel — and an approach to cuisine to match: Locally grown, organic foods are creatively prepared, with plenty of options for vegetarians. Kids can nosh on yummy (yet healthy) choices from the “Fast Kids” menu.

A cozy fireplace will draw you in to linger for a few more moments of warmth and relaxation, as the bar tempts you with organic and biodynamic wines and coffee drinks made from organic beans.
