DESCRIPTION:Worship with The Rev. Seth O’Kegley\, MM\nSunday\, January 12\, 2025\, 9:30 am\, Aspen Community Church \nJoin Rev. Seth O’Kegley for a vibrant celebration of baptism\, where we will explore the transformative power of being “reBORN This Way.” Through the lens of queer theology and the loving message of Lady Gaga’s anthem\, we’ll discover how God’s love affirms and embraces us as we are—beloved\, bold\, and beautifully made. \nSeth was appointed Pastor of Grace United Methodist Church in Denver in 2022. Born in East Tennessee and raised in Northern Virginia\, Seth grew up in the shadows of the Appalachian Mountains. He holds a Bachelor of Music in Music Education from East Tennessee State University\, a Master of Music in Choral Conducting from The University of Tennessee Knoxville\, and a Master of Divinity from the Iliff School of Theology in Denver\, CO. \nSeth is passionate about early church history and the revival of Methodist spiritual practices. Seth most recently served as the Pastor of Worship & Music at First United Methodist Church of Oak Ridge\, Tennessee. He sings regularly with Kantorei and occasionally joins the St. John’s Episcopal Cathedral choir. He and his Labrador Retriever\, Sir Wesley\, enjoy hiking\, swimming\, and being outdoors. \nThe service will begin with the ringing of the church bells at 9:25 am then move into an organ prelude\, a welcome\, a sharing of scripture\, a message from the Rev O’Kegley\, and a closing anthem. DESCRIPTION:Be sure to follow our social media and sign up for our text message blasts for the latest info on all things Gay Ski Week. \nApres Ski at the Limelight Hotel featuring THE LOUNGE: Aspen Restaurant \nAprès\nNo matter what season it is\, we call our happiest four hours of the day “après.” Ask anyone and they’ll tell you it’s the place to be in Aspen from 3–7 pm daily. \nAprès-ski is a French term that literally means “after skiing.” It refers to the social activities that take place after a day of skiing or snowboarding. Après-ski is a great time to socialize with other skiers and snowboarders. You can meet new people\, swap stories about your day on the slopes\, and make new friends.
