Curated by Josefina Mendez and in partnership with the Town of Snowmass. \nTAARKA – FAMILY BAND: Described as “a collision between Django Reinhardt and David Grisman” the Pelta-Tiller Trio strikes a balance between swing and jazz classics\, modern and classic Jazz Manouche (Gypsy Jazz) tunes\, Brazilian choro\, and their own well-crafted songs and spirited instrumentals. Jazz violinist and singer\, Enion Pelta-Tiller\, guitarist/mandolinist David Tiller\, and their son\, award-winning youth jazz bassist\, Aesop Pelta-Tiller create a lively sound together\, and follow in the footsteps of Django Reinhardt and his descendants by playing with a rhythmic cohesiveness enhanced by their family ties.
