Brunches are scheduled for 12:30 to 2 p.m. on Sundays\, Jan. 15 and 22\, Feb. 19 and March 19 at The Collective Hall in Snowmass Base Village. The cost is $25 per card with proceeds benefiting Aspen Out in partnership with Gay Ski Week. Must be 18 years or older to attend. \nOne of the valley’s local drag queens\, Matic is the creation of Alejandro Lucchetta\, a New York-based Argentinian hairstylist. According to Lucchetta\, Matic was born in New York during the pandemic where she began working at private events around the city\, participating in music videos for different artists and working in fashion. Now an “Aspen Queen\,” she can be found working and participating in events such as Aspen Highlands’ closing day party where she hosted a duct-tape fashion show\, Here House Club in Aspen\, sharing her style during Gay Ski Week and at private events around the valley. \nLimited seating is available. Mawita restaurant will offer brunch and drink specials and prizes will be awarded throughout the afternoon. Live music will be performed by Ancona\, one of The Collective’s resident DJs\, who is a self-taught musician making his way through Aspen and Snowmass\, plus the Hollywood\, South Bay and Las Vegas club circuits as an electronic music producer and performer.

With 970 acres to play in and a 3\,635-foot vertical\, the mountain is skewed to the advanced skier and is constantly looking for ways to further challenge those who are up to the task. Deep Temerity\, a speedy triple chair\, climbs 1\,700 vertical feet in a little over seven minutes and accesses acres of new\, advanced and expert landscape. There is plenty of mid-mountain\, easier terrain to practice on before hitting the steps. But for the locals\, it’s all about the Highland Bowl—an off-piste thrill-ride—which culminates in untracked descents down 45-degree pitches.

Our gourmet comfort food will keep you well fed. When late afternoon hits\, his post-adventure hot spot has quickly become a favorite of both guests and locals to dig into our friendly après food and drink specials.  In addition\, our full dinner menu is available evenings in the Lounge\, for in-room dining or take-out. \nAprès \nNo matter what season it is\, we call our happiest four hours of the day “après.” Ask anyone and they’ll tell you it’s the place to be in Aspen from 3–7 pm each day. Après at the Limelight also features some of Aspen’s favorite local bands every Friday through Sunday from 6–9 pm.
