AGSW 2024 Recap

The team at AGSW and AspenOUT would like to thank JPMorgan Chase & Co. and J.P.Morgan Wealth Management for once again helping make AGSW 2024 one of the most successful years in our 47 years of existence. Because of your support, we exceeded fundraising goals, netting close to 25% more to give back to the LGBTQ+ Community. Adding official events in Snowmass and our partnership with The Collective allowed us to add even more programming during AGSW 2024, with 100% of passes selling out and nearly 100% of all individual event tickets selling out. Once again, we had a waitlist of over 300+ unique names for tickets and passes. Digitally, we drove more traffic to our website (over 106,000 visits), social media sites (211,000 targeted impressions on IG alone), and text messaging than ever before. We will continue marketing your brand throughout 2024 via digital assets and marketing channels.

One For The Books – AGSW 2024 

AGSW distributed 1500 general admission attendee gift bags, plus 150+ VIP gift bags and an additional 2000 print programs. We had over 4000 people in town between Aspen and Snowmass Village to celebrate our annual fundraiser for AspenOUT. Numbers are calculated from hotel sales, lift ticket sales, event sales, pass sales, and the total number of people that came into our free events that we tracked through wristbands and clickers. Our booking partner has once again confirmed that we did the highest number of lift ticket sales in the history of AGSW. We also track revenue at the Limelight Hotel’s Après Ski bars. We hope to continue the momentum by working with your organization year-round and helping deliver any messaging you have for our affluent demographic.

AGSW’s 47th year continued to gain national and international attention with media coverage from some of the most prominent sources in the industry. Travel and Leisure (with a category rank of #7 in the U.S. and 23.4M monthly views) featured AGSW several times, including a top hit article, Aspen’s Gay Ski Week Is Right Around the Corner, Here’s What You Can Expect, by Matt Kirouac. Tik Tik Tok. And Getting Social.

AGSW continued to partner with various influencers and public figures that align with our non-profit’s mission. Joining us again for 2024 Griffin Maxwell Brooks, a TikTok personality with over 1.2M followers and 100.6M likes. We also welcomed back Los Angeles based community leader, Chanel Lumiere and IG influencer JW Barger, who connects to an affluent travel demographic. @Pattiegonia 603k followers participated in our downhill costume contest promoting intersectionality between climate change and LGBTQ+ Rights. We also welcomed regional content creators @JakeGrez , @JoeCorso, @Gregory.Molony, @BillKapfer, and @2_dallas_dads for a total combined reach of 467k followers.

Looking to the Future

AGSW 2024 again sold out faster than anything we had seen in the past. Our main passes sold out in just 4 minutes. We expanded into the town of Snowmass to provide a larger footprint for après, parties, and entertainment, all while continuing to take time to educate our audience about all of the charitable causes we support as one of the only Gay Ski Weeks in the world to be listed as a 501(c)(3).
