Mountain Du Jour – Highlands

January 18, 2027 @ 10:00 am - 3:00 pm

Mountain Du Jour – Monday, January 18 | 10AM – 3PM

THE REBEL HEART: HIGHLANDS MOUNTAIN
Tucked into the rugged flanks of the Elk Mountains, Aspen Highlands is the ultimate shrine to old-school ski culture and untamed alpine spirit. This is the locals’ legend—a high-elevation paradise where the soul of winter freedom lives on, wild, pure, and unapologetic.

From the sacred, heart-pounding pilgrimage up the iconic Highland Bowl to the sheer, spine-tingling drop-ins off Deep Temerity, Highlands serves up raw mountain magic around every turn. Carve through endless vertical drop, soak in classic vistas of the Maroon Bells, and top off a glorious day with the retro, champagne-soaked nostalgia of Cloud Nine Bistro. It’s big-mountain energy, deep powder, and timeless thrills for those who live to charge hard and celebrate even harder.

A Quick Note from the Trail
Just like the pioneers of the peak, skiers and snowboarders assume all personal liability while riding. Our AGSW guides are passionate local ambassadors here to share the mountain’s best-kept secrets and classic vibes—not certified instructors. They do not assess ability levels, so know your limits, bring your stoke, and let’s make some mountain memories!

Après at Limelight
No matter what season it is, we call our happiest four hours of the day “après.” Ask anyone, and they’ll tell you it’s the place to be in Aspen from 3–7 pm daily.

Après-ski is a French term that literally means “after skiing.” It refers to the social activities that take place after a day of skiing or snowboarding. Après-ski is a great time to socialize with other skiers and snowboarders. You can meet new people, swap stories about your day on the slopes, and make new friends. AGSW Après lends itself to a drink before dinner and to loosening up to dance the night away at our nightly events.
