AGSW 2023 Recap
AspenOUT would like to take a moment to thank you and your organization for helping make AGSW 2023 one of the most successful years in our 46 years of existence. AGSW once again exceeded financial goals, increased our already record-breaking attendance from 2022, sold out our host hotel, and had a waitlist of over 650+ unique names for tickets and passes. Digitally, we drove more traffic to our website (over 105,000 visits), social media sites, and text messaging than ever before. We will continue marketing your brand throughout 2023 via our digital assets and marketing channels.

AGSW distributed 1500 general admission attendee gift bags, plus 200+ VIP gift bags and an additional 3000 print programs. We had over 4000 people in town between Aspen and Snowmass Village to celebrate our annual fundraiser for AspenOUT. Numbers are calculated from hotel sales, lift ticket sales, event sales, pass sales, and the total number of people that came into our free events that we tracked through wristbands and clickers. Our booking partner has once again confirmed that we did the highest number of lift ticket sales in the history of AGSW. We also track revenue at all of our Après Ski bars at the Limelight Hotel. While we had some growing pains this year, the overwhelming majority of feedback we have received was positive and will continue to pave the way for us to expand even further into 2024.

Our 46th annual event was a banner year for attendance and media coverage, gracing top media outlets like Conde Nast Traveler (one of the most highly trafficked travel sites in the world with 5,351,474 average visits a month) and many others. The Most Popular Kid On The Block.
AGSW continued to partner with a diverse range of influencers and public figures that align with our non-profit’s mission. We helped establish relationships with Griffin Maxwell Brooks, a TikTok personality with over 1.2M followers and 89.8M likes. We brought out a well-established community leader and volunteer from one of our 2022 benefactors, Chanel Lumiere. Chanel is on the Board of Directors for the UWC, one of the oldest Black Trans Non-Profits in West Hollywood and the world. We partnered again with JW Barger, who donated to our non-profit and helped us reach an affluent travel demographic. @RaviRoundTheWorld provided interviews that gave a behind the scenes look into all things AGSW 2023.

Looking to the Future
AGSW 2023 sold out faster than anything we had seen in the past. Our attendance numbers, plus individual party tickets, passes, lift tickets, and hotel bookings, indicate that we are ready to expand into the neighboring town of Snowmass to provide a larger footprint for après, parties, and entertainment, all while continuing to take time to educate our audience about all of the charitable causes we support as one of the only Gay Ski Weeks in the world to be listed as a 501(c)(3).
Our commitment to helping the LGBTQ+ community remains intense, with a hard focus on mental health initiatives. Our goal is to ensure all colors of the rainbow remain at the forefront.
