This costume competition will be judged by a roster of personalities, including and hosted by Gay Ski Week legend, Mariam T. You won’t want to miss the mayhem! Bring your favorite noise makers, clack fans, and colorful outfits as you watch the spirited competition in the snow at Gondola Plaza.

READY TO GET DRESSED UP? 

We need you! Dress up, dress crazy, dress to impress…but you must also ski or board down the hill in your costume to the music of your choice. We do make some exceptions, email info[at]gayskiweek.com if you have any questions. We also cannot have too much nudity…no buts about it! Seriously, any nudity or profanity will seriously jeopardize this event in the future so let’s all remember to act accordingly…yet still, have fun!

There will be prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place! We are encouraging Downhill participants to register early by emailing their name, phone number, and a brief description of their costumes and music. You will need to bring your music on a jump drive or cd to give to DJ Dylan prior to your performance. You must register prior to the event, then on Friday, January 19th you must show up at the West Gondola Plaza no later than 10:30am to sign your release form and get your team registration finalized.

You are the most important part of this event…we need you to bring out your inner actress or actor and get all dressed up and ski a few yards. You have a chance to win great prizes and cash, as well as to be center stage for the whole town to see!
